A little bit about Herman
When he met As Sakinah, he was not enrolled in any school. He wanted to go to school very much but his parents could not afford it financially. He did not have any graduation certificate because he dropped out when he was in middle of junior high school. In order to continue to high school and obtain his certificates, he needed to take a special exam.
Fortunately, to prepare for the exam, he could go to free classes at night nearby his house provided by a local NGO. However, only two months after Herman enrolled, the night classes closed. Herman now had to study by himself.
He said he was nervous because he had been out of school for quite long. He was afraid that he would not pass the exam and would not get his certificates to go to high school. However, with hard work and strive for success, Herman passed the exam and got his certificates. He is now enrolled in Islamic high school, Darussalam and actively participates in student organization.
