A little bit about Maya

She is very active and cheerful. Being one of the newest girls in As Sakinah Tahfizh House 2 does not make Maya afraid to join new activities. She was one of the Saman dancers and never missed a practice. Her laugh is very peculiar and everyone loves her.

 

Last Maulid Nabi event, Maya was appointed to lead a shalawat (songs of praises to Prophet Muhammad) group of 20 people her age. Together with the group, she was confident singing on the stage and it earned her big applause.

 

What do you want to do when you grow up?

Be a doctor 

 

What is your favorite subject at school and why?

Arts & Music, because the teacher is fun and nice. Also, Qur’an class, because I get to recite Qur’an in the class.

 

What is your hobby?

Reading comic books and swimming

What is your most memorable moment in As Sakinah?

When I went with Mrs. Lisma, or Bu Haji as we called her to Bekasi. I got to listen to her stories and learned from her.
