Young doctors and nurses volunteered for Khitanan Massal

Last September, a team of doctors and nurses visited As Sakinah Foundation to perform Khitanan Massal for free for our children. The event was started with reciting Qur'an together and a breakfast.

The importance of Khitan

For Muslim boys, khitan, or circumcision, marked an important milestone, that is why the Foundation created a small celebration for the boys after the circumcision.

The young doctors and nurses volunteered their time to visit our children. Led by dr. Rezqa, the team performed circumcision to 12 boys aged 5-7 years old. Many of the boys were accompanied by their parents. After the process done, they received a goodie bag with delicious food to ease the pain ;)
