Suwidi

 

Suwidi is currently teaching in Madrasah As Sakinah and helping the children as a counsellor. With bachelor in Education and currently pursuing his master's degree, Suwidi works very hard to prepare his lessons in Madrasah as well as drafting his concepts for As Sakinah future education center. In addition to that, he is also taking a role in helping As Sakinah runs its social business, RTA Biz. 

Suwidi hopes that someday he could also work together with As Sakinah to help children in East Java, especially in his village. He realizes that currently there are many underprivileged children in his village who do not have access to formal education.  

He is currently working on As Sakinah newest and biggest project, which is to built our very own school. The school will emphasize in finding every child's potential through their very own talent and specialty. For example, if a child shows some interest in art and music, teachers will try to encourage him/her to learn more in that area, therefore there will be more opportunities for the child to excel. 

With his background as an educator, Suwidi shares same principle with As Sakinah that every child is special. He hopes through this new project, everyone will have more chances to learn.
