Winda

Windarti, or Winda, was born in Nganjuk, East Java on 23 August 1992. Both of her parents are currently living in East Java, while she is staying with us in As Sakinah Tahfizh House. Her mother sells vegetable in the village. Due to financial difficulties, Winda had to stop schooling for a while. However, currently, with help from our donor, she would be starting her first semester in Pamulang University this year. 

Winda is a very outgoing person. She is active and very motivated. While preparing herself to study in university, she also helps As Sakinah by teaching little children how to read Qur'an. Her dreams, which are partially coming true, are to be a teacher, who is also a hafizhah and a writer... and who travels the world too! Insya Allah. 

In her free time, Winda loves to read and write. Also she loves story tell, which is why her students in the Qur'an class love her. Lastly, she loves to cook. Her excellent cooking skills is what make her our prime chef for our newly opened Indonesian porridge stall "Bubur Ayam Bang Iron". She hopes with experience she has in As Sakinah and her upcoming university life, she could learn more in and out of school.
