Ery Yanti

 

Ms. Ery Yanti is a gymnastic teacher at local schools and gymnastic classes in Pamulang. She is currently teaching sports and aerobic classes to As Sakinah children every Sunday as part of As Sakinah morning exercise program.

 

In addition to that, she is also have been helping the As Sakinah team as Secretary as well as program coordinator for the early childhood education center (PAUD). Besides teaching in the center everyday, Ms. Yanti always proactively offer her advise as part of our advisor committee for events such as Prophet’s birthday (Maulid Nabi) or our Holiday with Qur’an (Howiqu) that runs during school holiday.

Ms. Yanti is very passionate about education, especially for underprivileged children who have limited access to formal education because of her own experience. She graduated from high school and had the chance to study in university majoring in civil engineering. However, due to financial problems, she was not able to continue her study. She realizes how important education is for a child, therefore with As Sakinah, she works very hard to provide education aid to as many children as possible.
